It all began in 1957 with the establishment of Uzhavan Oil Mills, a trailblazer in oil manufacturing. With a steadfast commitment to quality, Uzhavan quickly became a trusted name, setting the stage for what would become Gem Edible Oils in 2004.
Initially a leader in the B2B segment, Gem Edible Oils supplied premium-quality oils to some of India’s most recognized brands. Alongside, we built a strong presence in the B2C market, earning the trust of households across Tamil Nadu.
Now, in 2024, we are embarking on a bold new chapter—going full-on B2C to bring our vision of responsible oil consumption into every Indian kitchen.
